A state enterprise 'Digital Army' has been created to develop the digital capabilities of the Defense Forces of Ukraine
The Ministry of Defense has created a new state enterprise 'Digital Army', which will focus on the strategic development of the digital capabilities of the Ukrainian military through cooperation with the private sector and international institutions.
The establishment of the 'Digital Army' will provide a number of opportunities:
For the military. Through cooperation with the private sector, military units, and research and reconnaissance laboratories will be provided with additional opportunities for the development of innovative projects. This will support technical developers and enhance their motivation to work on new ideas even after the war ends.
For civilians. The operations of the 'Digital Army' will improve the speed and convenience of addressing military accounting, job searches, etc. It will also create opportunities to participate in the development and implementation of defense innovations as part of the enterprise's team.
For businesses. Products and developments from businesses will be integrated into the Defense Forces' projects and will become an integral part of comprehensive ecosystems that are not only important for ensuring superiority over the enemy but also for effective promotion in foreign markets.
'The 'Digital Army' will serve as a link between the state and the private sector. This will significantly accelerate the implementation of innovations that will improve the work of military units. We plan to attract the best civilian and military specialists to our team. We also see great interest from international partners in our combat experience and digital products. This has great potential for Ukraine and the 'Digital Army' in the international defense technology market,' said Irina Kvasokva.
