The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development has updated the list of territories where hostilities are ongoing and which are temporarily occupied by Russia. This new document takes effect from today. This was reported by 'Glavkom,' citing the press service of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.

The new document proposes a list of territories categorized by levels of security and control status by the Ukrainian authorities.

Distribution of territories:

  • Possible conflict zones - regions where there is still a threat of conflict;
  • Active conflict zones - territories where intensive military activity is ongoing or has recently occurred;
  • Active conflict zones with functioning state electronic resources - areas where hostilities did not lead to the shutdown of key state electronic systems;
  • Temporarily occupied territories - regions under the control of occupying forces.

According to ministry representatives, this updated list is significant for determining the status of citizens affected by hostilities. It also impacts the regulation of social payments, provision of state assistance, organization of humanitarian support, and infrastructure recovery. This list will be used in making decisions regarding the safety of the civilian population, evacuation, and access to administrative services.

It is worth recalling that the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine received UAH 4.3 billion to pay for housing certificates for internally displaced persons. Over the week, the program has already helped 50 displaced families find new housing.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky instructed Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and Vice Prime Minister Oleksiyuleba to create a program to support internally displaced persons. According to the order, this program was to be developed within two weeks.

Moreover, internally displaced persons will be able to submit documents to receive a housing rent subsidy. This will be provided to families who are in greatest need of financial assistance, similar to the housing subsidy.
