Weather at the beginning of the week

According to forecaster Natalia Didenko, it will be cold in Ukraine at the beginning of the week.

On Monday, February 17, the whole day will feel cold. The temperature at night will drop to -12 to -17 degrees, and during the day it will decrease slightly, but will still be from -2 to 7 degrees. In the south of the country, it will be a little warmer by 2-5 degrees.

'It will be mostly dry, only light snow in Poltava, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions', Didenko noted.

In Kyiv, there will also be no precipitation tomorrow. The temperature at night will be -12 degrees, and during the day from -2 to 4 degrees. However, one should be cautious due to the likelihood of ice slicks.

According to Didenko's forecast, warming in Ukraine is expected after February 24.

'Moisturize your hands with cream, wear suitable footwear, help small cafes, wrap your nose, take care of your throat and cheeks, feed street animals and birds', she advised.

As we reported earlier, Didenko warned of worsening weather.
