In Belgorod Region, a propagandist from 'First Channel' was blown up by a mine.

A tragedy occurred in Belgorod region - the film crew of 'First Channel' hit a mine. As a result of the explosion, propagandist Anna Prokofieva was killed, and cameraman Dmitry Volkov was injured. This was reported citing Russian media.

The propagandist was 35 years old. She frequently filmed reports from the so-called 'SVO zone' and was known as a war correspondent.

Anna Prokofieva worked at 'First Channel' since 2023. Prior to that, she worked in the Spanish editorial office of the agency 'Russia Today'.

It is reported that on March 26, she was killed near Demidivka in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of Belgorod region.

It is important to note that earlier, in the combat zone in Ukraine, Russian propagandist, correspondent of the newspaper 'Izvestia' Alexander Fedorchak was eliminated.

Also, it is important to mention that in temporarily occupied Luhansk, Jaykhun Salomov, co-owner of the café 'Caucasus', which was used by militants for recruitment, was shot dead.

Ukraine also lost a citizen of Russia - war correspondent-propagandist Semyon Yeryomin. He died at the front on April 19, 2024.

Earlier, 'First Channel' reported that the German authorities are closing the German bureau of the channel, due to which the employees of the correspondent office Ivan Blagoy and Dmitry Volkov will have to leave the territory of Germany.
