In Dnipropetrovsk region, children fell through the ice and nearly drowned.

In the city of Samara, Dnipropetrovsk region, two 15-year-old boys fell through the ice, but they were rescued. One of the boys did not heed the warning and stepped onto thin ice, which broke beneath him, leading him to fall in. His friend tried to help and also ended up in the water. Both received protocols for failing to comply with parental duties due to their interference in the rescue operation. The case has been sent to court. The police remind about safety rules on the ice: do not go onto the ice if you do not know its strength and thickness; do not descend on skis, sleds, etc. from steep banks onto untested ice; do not gather on the ice in large groups; do not go onto the ice in areas where rivers connect or with fast currents; go onto the ice only in cold weather and in specially equipped places; if you see someone who has fallen through the ice, provide assistance only if you are sure of your own safety and strength.
