Russian troops attacked rescuers in the Nikopol district
In the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian troops launched an attack on rescue workers who were inspecting the territory of one of the villages after shelling. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
«Today, during the inspection of the territory after enemy shelling in one of the villages of the Nikopol district, Russian troops struck precisely at the rescuers», – the report says.
As a result of the ammunition drop from the UAV, the official vehicle of the State Emergency Service was damaged.
There are no casualties among the rescuers.
This is not the first attack by the Russians on the vehicle of emergency workers. In September, occupiers attacked rescuers returning from extinguishing a fire in Donetsk region, damaging a fire truck. The State Emergency Service noted that none of the personnel were harmed, but the fire truck was damaged.
On September 5, a drone attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. A rescuer was injured after being caught under repeated shelling along with colleagues.
On January 23, the Russian army carried out three precise attacks on rescuers. It was noted that the enemy attacked people, vehicles, and fire stations. One firefighter was injured.
