In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, rescuers came to the aid of a 14-year-old boy who got stuck on a pier by the lake. The incident took place in the village of Vovchynets.
At noon, rescuers received a report that the foot of a boy born in 2011 was stuck between the wooden structures of the pier.
Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and freed the boy's foot. The victim was handed over to medics for examination.
There was also information circulating online about a 12-year-old boy falling through the ice in the town of Letichiv in Khmelnytskyi region. Rescuers conducted a special operation to save his life.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine refuted information about the death of the famous dog Patron, responding to the rumors circulating online.
