A man who shot the police and a civilian was detained
In the village of Oleshin, Khmelnytsky region, law enforcement officers detained a man who opened fire on police service vehicles and wounded a police officer and a civilian. This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
It is noted that the man fired 60 rounds from a Kalashnikov assault rifle at the police officers and their vehicles.
«The incident happened on September 14, around one o'clock in the morning, in the village of Oleshin in the Khmelnytsky territorial community. A patrol police response team stopped the car of a local resident to check the reasons for movement during the curfew», – the report says.
Firstly, the police found out that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and drew up a report on him. After that, the driver, who lives nearby, went home to resolve the issue with the vehicle, leaving his friend in the car.
The man returned to the scene with a Kalashnikov assault rifle and began shooting at the police: «The police returned fire and called for help».
Earlier, the SBU and the National Police detained five arsonists-provocateurs who were carrying out «orders» from Russian special services in Kyiv. The arsonists were of different ages, places of residence, and statuses, but they were all united by one thing – the desire for easy money and the willingness to sell to the Russian invaders a picture of a destabilized Ukrainian society. Part of the money that the criminals were paid, they traded for the prospect of spending the next eight years of their lives in prison.
