Unprecedented security measures have been implemented on the Crimean Bridge: details.

Oleksandr Ovdiienko, the Minister of Transport of Crimea, reported that a complete passport control has been established on the Crimean Bridge. This decision was made based on the decree of the President of the Russian Federation and the decisions of the Anti-Terrorist Commission of the Temryuk district and the head of the Krasnodar Territory regarding the increased level of terrorist threat in Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory.
The minister urged citizens to have original documents with them for quick passage through the control. The Crimean Bridge is important for supplying the annexed Crimea and moving military equipment and weapons for military actions in Ukraine.
Previously, Russian law enforcement agencies were searching for citizens of Georgia and Ukraine who were accused of involvement in the explosion on the Crimean Bridge. A plan was also developed by Ukraine to regain control over Crimea and destroy the bridge.
Currently, Russian law enforcement agencies are accusing the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Maliuk, of an attack on the Crimean Bridge in 2023.
