An official in Lviv region, detained for bribery, returned to work.

The first deputy chairman of the Solonky village council, Mykola Pushchak, has returned to his duties after being detained for bribery last September. He announced this on his social media page.
Two days after Pushchak's detention and the search of his residence, the court imposed a preventive measure on him. After paying a bail of 242 thousand hryvnias, he was not able to return to his position.
The prosecution attempted to extend his suspension, but the court saw no grounds for this and refused. Therefore, Pushchak could return to work as early as January.
Today, Pushchak announced his return to work on social media, stating that he intends to work with new energy and ideas for joint results.
«Back to work with new strength, energy, and ideas! I return to work with an even greater desire to work for the common result!», – Pushchak wrote.
According to law enforcement data, the official received a bribe of 4000 dollars in exchange for a positive decision regarding the permission to divide a land plot. The money was handed over to him before the searches, after which he was detained along with these funds.
It was also reported that employees of the State Bureau of Investigation notified another employee of the district culture center of Mykolaiv region of suspicion.
