In the Rostov region, an oil depot has been burning for nine days.


An oil depot near the city of Proletarsk in the Rostov region of Russia has been on fire for nine consecutive days. It caught fire after a drone attack on August 18.
According to local public sources, the fire has spread to new tanks. It is noted that it is being extinguished with aviation kerosene.

The first tanks, from which the fire spread, have already completely burned down.
Representatives of the Rostov region authorities stated that the air quality in the region remains within normal limits, and no harmful or toxic substances have been detected.
At the same Time, residents of Proletarsk are massively contacting local authorities demanding official data on air pollution.
Photos of the fire at the oil depot in the Rostov region, taken on August 26, show that the flames have slightly decreased, and the fire hotspots have been localized, reports «Radio Liberty».
Recall that at the site of a large fire at the oil depot in the Rostov region, which continues to burn after the attack of Ukrainian drones, Russian Orthodox priests were present, but their prayers did not help, and the fire is still ongoing.
As reported, on the night of August 18, Ukrainian troops attacked the «Kavkaz» plant located in the Rostov region of Russia. According to the General Staff, oil and petroleum products were stored at this plant, which were also used by the occupying army.
By the way, at the oil depot in Proletarsk, Rostov region of the Russian Federation, which was attacked by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, another fuel tank exploded.
