On March 13, during a combat mission in the Toretsk direction, a warrior from Berdyansk, Anton Pshenichny, known as Homer, died. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing SarmatTV and Boryslav Bereza.

Pshenichny was a fighter of the 'Safari' special forces regiment, an assault brigade of the National Police of Ukraine 'Lut'. He would have turned 31 on March 18.

It is noted that the young man always held an active civic position and was known in Berdyansk for his activities as one of the founders of 'Sarmat TV'.

'In October 2020, Anton was elected a deputy of the Berdyansk City Council, but already in December of that year, as a sign of protest, he voluntarily resigned due to the fact that this body was controlled by MP Oleksandr Ponomaryov from OPZZh, who was later accused of collaborating with the occupiers and detained by the SBU,' Bereza said.

Preliminarily, the funeral will take place in Kyiv on March 18.

It should be reminded that a respected producer of projects of Starlight Media, including the project 'Weighing and Happy' and the series 'House of Happiness', Yuri Kirpik, died at the front. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing his colleague Oleksandr Bykov.

'In our Starlightmedia family, it's a great loss... Yuri Kirpik has died. It's hard to believe this and to find words of support for his family and friends. To some of us, he was a colleague, to others a true friend, a person who always supported, joked, and brought light even in the toughest times,' Bykov wrote.

Also, on the birthday of Kobzar, March 9, 25-year-old sculptor and defender Taras Shevchenko died at the front. This was reported by 'Glavkom' citing the message of national park employee Ivan Rusyev on Facebook.

Taras Shevchenko graduated from the Odesa Art College named after Grekov. At the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he went to defend Ukraine along with his father Oleksandr.

Earlier, we wrote that a poet, combat medic, and top-category cardiologist Volodymyr Volikov died in the war. 'Glavkom' reports that this was written by the comrade of the deceased defender Oleksiy Sahalovskyi.

'With great sorrow, I am compelled to report that yesterday the heart of my friend and comrade, co-author of songs and well-known combat medic Volodymyr Volikov, stopped beating. I want to express my sincere condolences to the family and friends. There were so many plans, how could this happen, Volikov...', Sahalovskyi wrote.

Another comrade of Volodymyr noted that the poet's death occurred as a result of injury.
