A soldier of the Armed Forces and an operator of 'Pryamyi' died in the war. Let us remember Pavlo Parkhomenko.

Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Pavlo Parkhomenko.
In the war against Russian invaders, the operator of 'Pryamyi', Pavlo Parkhomenko, heroically died after joining the ranks of the Armed Forces and defending Ukraine. His brother, Oleksandr Parkhomenko, reported this on Facebook.
"He was a true warrior who gave his life for the freedom and peace of our people. We will always remember his courage, bravery, valor, and self-sacrifice. Rest in peace, our Hero. Your deeds will live in our hearts forever," wrote Oleksandr Parkhomenko.
"Pavlo Parkhomenko was not only a talented media representative but also a brave patriot. He dedicated his life to bringing the truth to Ukrainians and the world, and in the country's most difficult moment, he chose the path of a defender and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces. His courage, steadfastness, and deep sense of duty to the state are an example for all of us," said the Committee on Freedom of Speech.
During an airing on the 'Pryamyi' channel, the presenter said that Pavlo had been working at the channel since its inception. He had been defending Ukraine since 2014 in Donbas, and at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022, he voluntarily joined the army again without waiting for a summons. The presenter added that Pavlo had a little daughter whom he incredibly loved.
Pavlo Parkhomenko was buried on September 13 at the Lisove Cemetery in Kyiv.
According to the Institute of Mass Information, Pavlo Parkhomenko became the 87th media representative to die as a result of Russia's full-scale aggression.
'Hlavykom' joins the moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for the Motherland. We remember those killed by the hands of Russian invaders, light candles of memory, and bow our heads in sorrow during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of the citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military, civilians, and children, everyone who died in the struggle against the Russian occupiers and as a result of enemy troops' attacks on Ukrainian cities and villages.
