Occupiers collected money for the war under the guise of 'volunteer activities'
In the Zaporizhzhia region, which is temporarily under occupation, Russian invaders organized fundraising for the war against Ukraine. This was done under the cover of 'volunteer activities'. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNS).
According to CNS, Russian 'volunteers' actually forced parents to give money to support the occupying forces. School students made postcards for Russian soldiers under the supervision of teachers, while high school students wrote letters from given texts.
The organizers of this propaganda event were the education department of the occupation administration and the 'volunteer company of the combat brotherhood'.
CNS emphasizes that 'all this is not only an attempt to manipulate children with brainwashing but also a demonstrative action aimed at creating an illusion of support for the occupiers by the local population'.
The Center urges citizens to ignore the initiatives of the occupiers and report cases of collaboration.
