Even with the right to leave: when men face an unpleasant surprise at the border due to military recruitment.

The conditions of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine seriously complicate the opportunity for men to leave the country, but even those who have the right to free exit may encounter problems at the border. This was reported by the publication 'Facts'.
The main reasons for refusal to cross the border are the absence of a military ID and the presence of data in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Obliged Individuals and Reservists regarding the search for a person by the police.
If such records are found in the register, a police officer will be called to the scene to detain the person and take them to the nearest Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.
According to the rules for crossing the border for Ukrainian citizens, military obligated individuals who are not subject to conscription during mobilization have the right to leave the country. However, even in the presence of all documents, unexpected situations may arise.
It is also important to remember the 'eQueue' system and the main checkpoints.
The conditions of martial law may cause complications for Ukrainian citizens to exit the country, even for those who have the right to do so. The presence of a military ID and data in the conscript register may become an obstacle when crossing the border.
