Non-fan of Ukraine: Trump picks candidate for US Ambassador to the UN.

Trump appoints Elise Stefanik as permanent representative to the UN
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that Elise Stefanik is an unmatched, strong, and intelligent fighter and nominated her for the position of permanent representative of the country to the United Nations (UN). She will replace Linda Thomas-Greenfield.
Elise Stefanik is the fourth-ranking representative of the Republican Party in the House of Representatives. She was an ally of Trump and known for her criticism of the UN for its 'antisemitism' and criticism of Israel. However, her position on Ukraine is not clear-cut, as she voted against funding in the country, citing the crisis at the border.
The US Deputy Defense Minister anticipates that Trump's plan for achieving peace will be presented to Zelensky and Putin.
