Night attack by the Russian Federation: The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the downing of 60 drones.

The defense forces of Ukraine shot down 60 Russian strike drones of the Shahed type and drones of other types, while another 26 decoy drones were location-lost. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy attacked Ukraine with 93 strike UAVs of the 'Shahed' type and decoy drones of various types from the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, and Orel - RF.

The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces and Defense Forces of Ukraine.

As of 09:00, the downing of 60 strike UAVs of the 'Shahed' type and drones of other types in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions has been confirmed.

Due to active resistance from the Defense Forces, 26 enemy decoy drones have been location-lost (without negative consequences), one remains in the air.

The military called on citizens to adhere to safety requirements during air raid alerts.

As a reminder, on January 3, Russia attacked Ukraine again at night with Shahed kamikaze drones. Debris from the enemy UAVs fell in two districts of the capital.

Also, as a result of the enemy's attack by 'Shaheds' in the Kyiv region, one person was killed and four others were injured. Rescuers eliminated the aftermath of the attack by Russian drones in the Kyiv region.
