Norway invests millions of dollars in arms production for Ukraine.

Norway has decided to allocate almost $90 million to four new projects aimed at increasing capacity in the defense industry. These projects include the production of rocket engines and components for creating explosives.
The head of Norway's defense department, Bjørn Arild Gram, stated that there is currently a great need for defense equipment in both Ukraine and other allies. He noted that these projects are part of a "roadmap" that will help increase Norway's production capacities and meet the needs of Ukraine and other allies.
The minister noted that production capacities in the defense industry of Norway and Europe were reduced after several decades of peace, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine requires changing this trend. He emphasized that Ukraine relies on access to various defense means, such as air defense systems, missiles, and artillery shells.
Gram claims that Norway will increase support for innovation for domestic defense companies developing equipment for Ukraine. The funds will be directed to support Norwegian companies in developing technologies that may be useful for Ukrainian forces, as well as expanding the production of hexamine - an important component for creating explosives.
This is an important decision by Norway, as it is one of the few Western countries that produce the explosives necessary for Ukraine's defense against Russia.
