The number of bookings has decreased because a digital procedure was introduced on the Diia portal. However, an audit of booked enterprises is underway, as violations in the booking of 40,000 conscripts have been identified. Changes to the booking procedure are also being considered.
New booking rules: what changes to the procedure the government is considering
- Enterprises with salaries higher than 19,000 hryvnias cannot be critically important. They also have to submit salary reports.
- The regional military administrations may be stripped of the authority to grant the status of critically important enterprises, or this decision may be made by local authorities together with the CCC.
- The number of bookings at critically important enterprises may be reduced, for example, in the military industry or energy sector.
The decision has not yet been made, but the authorities have not explained how they will fight corruption.
Booking for conscripts has been extended until May 31, 2024. The audit of decisions to grant the status of critically important enterprises will last until November 15. This is done to strengthen defense capabilities and prevent abuse.
President Zelensky noted that booking should be fair.
