North Korean troops are losing over half of their personnel
During the fighting in Russia, North Korean troops have lost over half of their personnel. This was reported by The New York Times, citing information from Ukrainian and American military personnel. Russian commanders and the role of the Kremlin
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the North Korean contingent includes about 500 officers and at least three generals who are located at Russian command posts, coordinating the actions of their units. Ukrainian soldiers emphasize that fighting against one of the largest armies in the world was already difficult, and fighting against two is a challenge on the brink of the possible.
Kremlin's denial
The Kremlin denies the presence of North Korean troops and tries to downplay their role in the fighting. They issued documents to North Koreans registering them as residents of the Russian Far East.
Captured DPRK soldiers
DPRK servicemen have been captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is confirmed by the interrogations of soldiers conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine. The DPRK soldiers suffered their first losses in Kursk due to 'friendly fire' aimed at Kadyrovites, reported the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.
