Pope Francis remains in the hospital: what is his condition.

Pope Francis declined to speak to the public and meet with pilgrims on Sunday due to his illness. Doctors recommend complete rest for the 88-year-old Pope as he is currently being treated for a respiratory infection. Francis is in the Gemelli hospital in Rome, which has specially equipped apartments for the pope.
According to the test results conducted on February 16, it became known that the Pope's condition is improving: his slight fever has passed. Francis has already been able to receive communion, attend Mass, read a book, and rest.
On the morning of February 14, after the audience at the Casa Santa Marta, Pope Francis was hospitalized at the Agostino Gemelli hospital in Rome for necessary diagnostic examinations and treatment for bronchitis, according to Vatican News.
On February 9, during a special mass in St. Peter's Square to commemorate the anniversary of the armed forces, police, and security forces, Pope Francis was unable to finish his sermon due to breathing difficulties. He read the beginning of the sermon but asked the ceremonial master to read it to the end.
