How to Apply for a Pension for the Mother of a Child with Disability from Childhood through the Web Portal: Instructions

The Pension Fund of Ukraine has announced that mothers who have raised children with disabilities from childhood to the age of six can receive an early pension. To qualify, you must be at least 50 years old and have a work experience of at least 15 years. You can apply for the pension one month before reaching fifty years of age. This can be done in person at the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or through their electronic services web portal.

Applications online can be submitted after obtaining a qualified electronic signature (QES) and preparing color scanned copies of the documents:

• Passport;
• Registration number of the taxpayer's account card (RNOKPP);
• Documents proving work experience (employment record book, diploma of full-Time education, birth certificate of the child, etc.);
• Marriage certificate in case of a name change;
• Documents confirming that the child is recognized as a person with disability from childhood or a child with disability (extract from the MSEC examination report;
• Medical certificate from a healthcare institution;
• Certificate of the aid recipient;
• Certificate from the body granting the assistance regarding the period of assistance assignment;
• Salary certificate for the last 60 months until June 30, 2000 (if desired);
• Bank account details (if the payment method is selected through a bank);
• Photograph for the pension certificate (2.5 x 3 cm).

To submit documents through the web portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, follow these instructions:

• Log in to the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal and authenticate using QES.
• In your personal cabinet, on the left panel under the 'Pension Provision' section, select the 'Pension Appointment Application' tab.
• In the window that appears, click the 'Continue' button.
• Select the type of pension - 'Old Age Pension'.
• Answer the questions in the questionnaire for filling in the request attributes and agree to the transfer and processing of your personal data (mark the checkbox).
• Upload scanned documents and click the 'Formulate Application' button.
• A full application form for the appointment of the pension will appear on the screen. If necessary, you can edit the entered data. Sign the application using QES and send it to the Pension Fund of Ukraine by clicking 'Sign and Send to PFU'.
• You can view the decision on the pension appointment in the 'My Requests' section - 'Request Status'.
