The Pentagon revealed details of a new military aid package for Ukraine.


The United States has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth 988 million dollars, according to the press service of the U.S. Department of Defense.
This assistance is provided under the USAI program and includes a wide range of military equipment and ammunition.
The package includes the supply of ammunition for HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, drones, as well as equipment and components for the maintenance, repair, and modernization of artillery systems, tanks, and armored vehicles.
This package is already the twenty-second under the USAI program.
Since the Russian invasion, total military and security assistance from the United States to Ukraine has exceeded 62 billion dollars, demonstrating consistent support for Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression.
Earlier, Zelensky discussed the issues of ammunition and air defense with the NATO Secretary General.
