Transition to winter time: an important clarification has appeared.

Ukraine cancels transition to daylight saving Time
This fall, Ukraine will take a historic step in its timekeeping. On October 27, the country will turn the clocks back for the last time, saying goodbye to a long-standing tradition.
As "Hvylya" reports, Ukraine will introduce "single Kyiv time".
Now the concepts of "winter" and "summer" time are becoming a thing of the past, giving way to a permanent time regime. However, like any significant innovation, this change evokes mixed reactions among Ukrainians.
Some of the population expresses discontent that winter time, rather than summer time, has been chosen. In addition, there are concerns about convenience for those who frequently travel abroad, as from 2025 there may be a time difference with European countries that continue to transition to daylight saving time.
Thus, this year Ukraine will turn the clocks back to winter time on the last Sunday of October, and from 2025 onwards, there will be no more transition to daylight saving time. Note that the clocks need to be turned back an hour on October 27 at 4:00 AM. Also, modern gadgets perform this transition automatically.
It is worth noting that the decision to cancel the transition to daylight saving time was made by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on July 16, 2024. This was voted for by 261 members of parliament.
