Comrades called him 'a golden man'. Let's remember Ihor Kravchenko.

Every day at 9 AM, Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we will remember Ihor Kravchenko.
On February 15, 2025, Ihor Kravchenko fell in fierce combat against the enemy.
Ihor Kravchenko was born in the city of Shepetivka on April 11, 1995. From childhood, he was curious and persistent, always striving for knowledge and dreaming of a great future. He was particularly fascinated by mathematics, eagerly solving complex problems and dreaming of becoming a teacher to pass on his knowledge to the next generations. He studied at Educational Complex No. 1, where he proved himself as a diligent student and a sincere, kind person. His family always supported him - his mother Tetiana and father Yurii, and especially his sister Inna, with whom he had a warm relationship.
After completing nine grades, Ihor entered the Lviv Heroes Circle Lyceum, where he gained not only a decent education but also developed a strong character, discipline, and true life values. After successfully graduating from the lyceum, he continued his journey at the National Academy of Internal Affairs, choosing the specialty 'Law'.
In 2016, he started service at the Shepetivka Correctional Colony as the head of the social and psychological service department of the social and educational and psychological work department of the state institution 'Shepetivka Correctional Colony No. 98'.
In August 2022, he received the title of 'captain of internal service'. He was a responsible, principled, and fair officer, respected by both colleagues and subordinates.
Apart from his service, Ihor had another great passion - football. Despite injuries and surgeries on his knees, he never abandoned the beloved game. His passion for sports, strength of spirit, and desire for victory were always a source of inspiration and life energy.
But the greatest value for Ihor Kravchenko was family. He was a loving husband to his wife Miroslava and a caring father to his children - daughter Melisa and son Maksym. He lived for them, dreamed of their happy future, and sought to do everything possible to ensure that his loved ones were surrounded by love and warmth. One of his greatest dreams was to go on vacation with his family, to spend Time together, enjoying moments of happiness and peace.
Ihor was always drawn to military service; he dreamed of becoming a fighter in the Third Assault Brigade. Without his family's knowledge, Ihor Yuriiovych went to Kyiv for an interview, which he passed successfully. His determination, responsibility, and readiness to fight helped Ihor become part of the legendary unit.
On September 20, 2024, Ihor Kravchenko officially began his service. Without fear, with complete dedication to the cause, the warrior mastered new skills, quickly adapted, and demonstrated success in training.
Combat comrades noted his skill in shooting, endurance, and strategic thinking. He was someone one could rely on, always moving forward without hesitation.
Comrades speak of Ihor Yuriiovych with great respect and warmth. They remember him as a sincere, dedicated person who always supported his comrades and was ready to help. The man left a deep mark in the hearts of those who knew him and became a true example of courage and honor. They call him 'a golden man' - good, fair, and devoted to his cause. He was not just a soldier but a true friend who remained faithful to his oath and ideals until the very end.
On February 15, 2025, Ihor Kravchenko fell in fierce combat against the enemy.
'Ihor Yuriiovych was not born a hero but became one through his decisions and actions, consciously choosing the path of a defender. We express our sincere condolences to the grieving family and all the loved ones of the brave warrior', - stated in the Shepetivka City Council.
'Hlavkom' joins in with a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland.
