Poland plans to reach 5% of GDP for defense over the decade.

Poland plans to increase military spending
Польща має на меті збільшити видатки на оборону до 5% ВВП протягом найближчих десяти років.

The Polish Minister of Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, supports the demand of U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the allocation of 5% of GDP for defense by NATO members. He notes that achieving such a goal will take Time. Blaszczak does not consider Trump's criticism overly ambitious since other countries are still discussing additional expenditure. He referred to Poland as a 'transatlantic connecting link' between Trump's demand and the realization of this requirement in Europe. Currently, Poland allocates 4.7% of GDP for defense, which is the highest rate among Alliance countries.
