Polish farmers have ended the blockade at the border with Ukraine.


Farmers from Poland have ceased their protest action near the crossing point 'Medika - Shegyni'. This information was reported by the Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Ukrainian border guards received notification about the end of the farmers' action from Poland in the evening of November 24. According to the latest data, at 19:50, vehicles were passing through the crossing point without any obstacles.
It should be noted that on November 23, Polish farmers began blocking the crossing point 'Medika - Shegyni'.

As previously reported, farmers from Poland do not have complaints against Ukrainian goods. They use protests to pressure their government. This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
It is worth mentioning that earlier Polish farmers announced a protest action that involved blocking the movement of freight vehicles at the crossing point 'Medika - Shegyni' from October to December 2024.
