Ukrainian People's Deputy Died.


Ukrainian People's Deputy Oleh Makarov, who represented the "Holos" party, has died.
This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.
Oleh Makarov was the secretary of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy. It is not yet known what the cause of his death was. The deputy was 59 years old.
"The leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, its apparatus, and Ukrainian people's deputies deeply regretted to learn about the death of Oleh Makarov - a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the ninth convocation," the message stated.

Oleh Makarov (July 24, 1965, Kyiv) was a courtroom lawyer, managing partner of a law firm, and head of its legal department. He was also a deputy of the Kyiv City Council VIII convocation and a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 9th convocation from the "Holos" party.
Since 1992, Makarov headed his law firm and dedicated himself to the field of law. In 2007, he became the deputy head of the Disciplinary Chamber of the Kyiv City Qualification-Disciplinary Bar Commission and became a member of the board of the public organization "Association of Lawyers of Ukraine." In 2015, he also became a member of the Ethics Commission of this organization.
Furthermore, as a deputy of the Kyiv City Council VIII convocation, he chaired the standing committee on regulations and deputy ethics.
Recall that the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada recommended that the parliament adopt the draft state budget for 2025 in the first reading.
