The Air Force appealed to Ukrainians with a request regarding F-16.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine urges citizens of Ukraine to refrain from sharing video recordings of military aviation flights, particularly the F-16 fighter jets. The Air Force Command states that such publications on social media may become valuable intelligence for the Russian army and endanger the safety of pilots and Ukraine's aviation infrastructure.
The Air Force draws attention to the fact that information about locations of bases, flight paths, and maneuvers of military aviation can be used by the enemy to destroy Ukrainian aircraft. Video recordings of aviation flights in frontline areas, especially those indicating geolocation and recognizable objects, are particularly dangerous.
Let us recall that on August 26, pilot Oleksiy Mes, who was flying an F-16 fighter, died during a massive attack by the Russian Federation on Ukraine. The Pentagon refused to assist in the investigation of this tragedy.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to Colonel Oleksiy Mes, who actively lobbied for the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine and is a recognized expert in defense issues.
