During his visit to Ukraine, President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel visited the production of Bren-2 assault rifles, which were manufactured under the license of Česká Zbrojovka. This was reported by the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine, Herman Smetanin.

According to the minister, Ukrainian weaponsmiths underwent training in the Czech Republic and are now implementing NATO-acquired experiences and technologies at the Ukrainian plant.

The minister noted that among the signed documents were those regarding the supply of components for localized production of ammunition and the assembly of Bren-2 rifles.

The Chief Military Prosecutor reported that the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, also visited Odesa, where Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized the terrorist acts of Russia in the city. The meeting took place under the threat of three groups of snipers sent by the Russian Federation. Kuleba also discussed issues of maritime security, the restoration of Ukraine, and the development of communities.

Kuleba noted that the Czech Republic is one of the leading countries providing systemic assistance to Ukraine. Over the last three years, this country has supported Ukraine to the tune of 900 million dollars.
