Snowfalls and frosty weather continue in the Carpathians. The border guards of the Chernivtsi border detachment reported nighttime temperatures of up to -30°. Snow complicates movement along border roads and trails, which can be dangerous for people. Three men who got lost in the mountains were found after eight hours of searching.
“On one of the mountainous sections of the state border with Romania, the border guards of the Chernivtsi detachment are recording a significant drop in air temperature. During the day – minus 23-25°, at night – down to minus 30°,” the border guards report.
“Be careful, do not violate the border and do not put yourself in danger,” the border guards urge.
Recall that a new tourist route has been opened in the Carpathians, which is 4 kilometers long.
