Can you explain how long to wait for feedback on this matter? The bank branch said they would call when my application is considered, but Time goes by and no one has contacted me yet.'

Oschadbank's explanations regarding the necessity and duration of financial monitoring

According to the bank's information, during the state of war in the country, financial monitoring is conducted in financial institutions to detect and stop illegal operations related to money laundering, preventing terrorism financing, and the spread of weapons of mass destruction. The following suspicious operations may be blocked:

• an increase in the number of financial operations for a similar period;
• regular receipt of money transfers from different persons;
• continuous transfer of funds to the same person;
• depositing a large amount of cash through terminals;
• expenses from the account do not match official income.

According to one of the employees of Oschadbank's head office, there are no clear deadlines for processing additional information provided by the bank's clients. Applications for account unblocking are processed in order of queue.

However, it is possible to clarify the information by providing the bank with the surname, first name, and mobile phone number.
