Rada 7 at a special meeting with the president will discuss an increase in taxes.

The participants of the Council for the Support of Entrepreneurship under Martial Law will discuss a bill aimed at increasing taxes, which intends to replenish the budget by 125 billion hryvnias this year and 341.9 billion hryvnias next year. This was announced by Oleg Gorokhovsky, a member of the council and co-founder of monobank.
Gorokhovsky noted that the dialogue between entrepreneurs and the state is very important in finding common solutions that will help strengthen the economy during the war. He expressed satisfaction that they are being heard and can convey the vision of entrepreneurs to the state leadership.
Gorokhovsky emphasized that although there may be different viewpoints, a solution must be found through dialogue. He stressed that they are not going against the state, as their common goal is to preserve the economy, which will provide the opportunity to continue fighting. According to him, it is necessary to manage the existing taxes better, rather than increasing them, especially during a war period.
Earlier, Gorokhovsky called those who propose to increase taxes during the war traitors. According to him, it is necessary to punish those who steal and loot during armed conflicts. In particular, he mentioned how this was done in past wars.
Alexander Konotopsky, another member of Rada 7, harshly criticizes the government bill on increasing taxes. He noted that increasing taxes is impossible because neither citizens nor businesses are ready for this. Instead, he believes that taxes in Ukraine should be lowered and everyone should be properly educated to pay them, then the state's income will grow.
