Land market becomes commercial: land value may change - Minister.

Forecast for land value increase
Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval predicted that the value of land will increase by 20% in the next few years. According to him, the price will gradually increase, referring to land for agricultural use. Currently, the average land value is 46,000 UAH/ha, while in 2021 it was 39,000 UAH/ha.
Development of the land market
Koval also noted that the land market is becoming more commercial. In 2021, about 74 thousand land plots (more than 178 thousand hectares) found new owners, and this year the number has grown to 194 thousand plots, which is almost 400 thousand hectares. This indicates the effectiveness of the land reform, under which land can be alienated.
'Land Bank' Program
The government also offers the 'Land Bank' program, which allows for the rental of agricultural land in various sizes, starting from 2 hectares. The largest plot is located in the Kirovohrad region and covers an area of 3969 hectares.
