Transportation operations during air alerts: changes announced for Kyiv residents.

Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachенко reported that the city is experiencing transport problems during air alerts, especially on the bridges across the Dnipro. This creates danger and leads to delays for people. Tkachенко noted that stopping public transport 'paralyzes movement between the banks of the Dnipro.'
In order to solve the transport problem, Tkachенко held a meeting where constructive dialogue was achieved. He emphasized that the situation when people cannot quickly get home after work due to prolonged alerts is unacceptable.
Evening prolonged alerts and the stoppage of transport lead to people not being able to get home after their shifts in transport,' emphasized Tkachенко.
Tkachенко also highlighted that citizen safety must be considered since Kyiv could be a target for enemy attacks. He stated the need to find solutions to the transport problem during air alerts that will ensure safety and normal passenger movement.
To this end, a working group will be formed to determine actions for passengers and public transport drivers during air alerts.
To this end, I have instructed to create a working group with the participation of representatives from all parties present at the meeting. It will work on determining actions for passengers and public transport drivers during air alerts. These proposals will be considered at the next meeting of the Kyiv Defense Council,' summarized Tkachенко.
It has also become known that working with marshrutkas in Kyiv may be banned due to the 'war' with carriers.
