The list of cities where Russians can purchase a second property through a family mortgage now includes settlements under Ukrainian control. This list includes Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Dobropillya, Druzhkivka, and Kherson. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the program operator 'Dom.RF'.

From April 1, it will be possible to buy real estate in over 900 cities where two or fewer apartment buildings were built before the beginning of 2025. The list includes almost all cities of the Russian Federation, except for the capital ones.

The family mortgage for a second property will also be available in eight cities of the Kursk region (Sudzha, Rylsk, Kurchatov) and eight cities in the occupied Crimea (Bakhchysarai, Dzhankoy).

The Ministry of Community and Territory Development has updated the list of territories where hostilities are ongoing or which are temporarily occupied by Russia. This document contains a list of territories divided by security level and governance by Ukraine.

The updated list is significant for recognizing the status of those affected by hostilities, social payments, state assistance, humanitarian support, and infrastructure restoration. Decisions regarding the safety of citizens, evacuation, and access to administrative services will be made according to this list.

It should be noted that the Russian Federation continues to commit crimes against Ukrainian children, holding around 1.6 million minors—deported or residing in occupied territories—under its control.

It is worth mentioning that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of officially recognizing Crimea as part of Russia as part of a deal to end the war in Ukraine.
