Russia appointed a new 'head of the DNR government'.

New 'head of the DNR government' - Andrey Chertkov
According to information, the new acting 'head of the Donetsk People's Republic government' is Andrey Chertkov, who previously worked in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia. This was reported by Denis Pushilin, the leader of the occupiers in the 'DNR'.
Pushilin noted: 'I appoint Andrey Chertkov, who has proven himself well in the position of first deputy, as the acting head of the DNR government.'
The previous head of the government, Yevgeny Solntsev, was replaced by Chertkov.
Putin's Proposal
On March 26, Vladimir Putin suggested to Yevgeny Solntsev, the 'head' of the so-called 'DNR government', to create a temporary government in the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation. Putin stated: 'I want to offer you a new job, with a broader scope - to head the Orenburg region.'
Chertkov was born and worked in Russia before arriving in the occupied Donbas in 2022. He held the position of 'Minister of Coal and Energy' and was the deputy head of the 'DNR government'. Since May 16, 2023, he has served as the first deputy head of the 'DNR government'.
Theft of Housing in Occupied Territories
The administration of the so-called 'DNR' is conducting 'nationalization' of housing in the occupied parts of Donetsk. Collaborators, military personnel, and displaced persons from the Russian Federation are occupying 'vacant' apartments and houses. Russian propaganda even promises apartments in Kyiv and Odesa. In an advertising video from 2023, Russian soldiers discuss their 'dreams' about their own lives after the war. One of them expressed a desire to receive an apartment on the Pechersk Hills in Kyiv, while another wants to settle by the sea in Odesa. Russian propaganda calls out: 'Choose the city of your dreams.'
