Russia struck Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv: there are casualties, a number of regions are without electricity.


Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine
According to 'Hvylya', Russia attacked Ukraine on February 1 using cruise and ballistic missiles. The attacks took place in Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, and Kharkiv. Terrorists launched drones on the evening of January 31, and in the morning began rocket strikes.
Attack on Poltava
In Poltava, the Russian army attacked a residential building, resulting in casualties and injuries. The energy infrastructure was also damaged, leaving 164 residential and 1 legal consumer without electricity. As a result of the fire in the entrance of the building, neighboring houses and vehicles were damaged.
As a result of the incident, 2 people died, 7 were injured, including a child. 21 people were also rescued.
Attack on Zaporizhzhia
In Zaporizhzhia, the occupiers carried out 18 drone attacks. As a result of the attacks, fires broke out in various areas of the city, damaging buildings, vehicles, and private houses. In addition, one person was injured.
Attack on Kharkiv
Hostile shelling was also recorded in Kharkiv. One woman died, and another 5 people were injured. Local authorities are verifying information about the destruction and casualties. The mayor of Kharkiv reported a series of explosions that caused a fire.
The Russian air attack led to emergency power outages in seven regions: Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk. Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko stated that measures were taken to limit electricity supply.
President Zelensky also commented on the missile strike on Odesa and the meeting of the Staff.
