Russians shelled a geriatric center near Kherson, medical workers injured.


Occupiers hit the geriatric center in the village of Stepanivka, Kherson district, with artillery. As a result of the shelling, medical personnel were injured. This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
It is noted that the attack occurred around two o'clock in the morning.
The geriatric center is located in the village of Stepanivka, which is part of the Kherson city community.

After this, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the commission of a crime against the laws and customs of war.

This is not the first Time that Russian occupiers have shelled geriatric institutions. For example, in September they shelled a geriatric boarding house in Sumy. As a result of the attack, one person died and another 12 were injured. The boarding house building was damaged on several floors. The technical and fifth floors were partially destroyed. 147 people were evacuated, with no casualties under the rubble.
On October 7, Russian occupiers dropped four aerial bombs on Kherson. So far, it is known that 20 people were injured, including small children. Previously destroyed school and residential buildings in the central district were also affected.
