US intelligence assessed Putin's nuclear threats due to Ukrainian strikes deep into Russia.

US intelligence claims that Ukrainian long-range weapons provided by America for attacks on Russia will not increase the risk of nuclear escalation from the RF.
Five sources affiliated with American intelligence reported this.
Assessments were clear: ATACMS will not change Russia's nuclear calculations - said one of the aides to an American congressman familiar with the intelligence data.
Russia launched a new rocket
It is worth noting that Russia launched a new ballistic missile called 'Gorishnik' in the city of Dnipro on November 21. Analysts believe this was done to deter the US and its European allies. However, this did not change the main conclusions regarding the situation.
In particular, one American official noted that the US believes Russia will not strengthen its nuclear forces but will respond to what is perceived as escalation from Washington.
Meanwhile, according to US officials, intelligence helped resolve contentious discussions within the Biden administration about whether to ease restrictions on the use of American weapons in Ukraine to prevent Putin's aggression.
However, after North Korea entered the war, Biden changed his view. Some officials believe that concerns about escalation were exaggerated.
'Russia's hybrid response is alarming. The chances of escalation have never been lower. Now there is more concern,' says Angela Stent, director of Eurasian, Russian, and Eastern European Studies at Georgetown University, referring to Russia's sabotage in Europe.
For its part, the White House and national intelligence refuse to comment on the situation. The only response from the Kremlin to inquiries regarding intelligence assessments is silence.
Recall that on Thursday, November 28, Russia launched a massive strike against Ukraine's energy facilities.
