The substances found in Marianna's body, according to intelligence, 'are not used in everyday life and military affairs' and are mercury and arsenic. But Kyrylo Budanov showed no symptoms of poisoning. This incident is considered an assassination attempt. It is likely that Budanov was poisoned through food. She has already completed a course of treatment.

It should be noted that Marianna Budanova is a psychologist by education. She was also a candidate for the Kyiv City Council and worked as an advisor to Vitali Klitschko on combating corruption in youth policy and sports.
