Traffic in the center of Odessa on Peressyp is being restored - when.

In Odessa, almost all restoration works on Blashka slope have been completed. Only marking and installation of a traffic light are left to ensure that citizens' cars do not disturb tram traffic.

The asphalt works and installation of tram tracks on Blashka slope are already finished. In the future, only street markings are left to be made. This is stated by the deputy of the Odessa City Council, Petro Obuchov.

According to Petro Obuchov, it will now be more convenient to park on Blashka slope. Auto bays have been arranged between the trees where it was possible. Previously, cars simply destroyed the holes for the plants, and now this drawback has been fixed.

However, there might be problems with exiting the residential complex 'Prostor', which is located near the slope, due to the new marking. This is because residents' cars might obstruct city traffic due to the steep incline at this location. To prevent this, it is planned to install a traffic light.

'I have already discussed this with the Ministry of Transport. A traffic light will be installed there to prohibit the exit from the residential complex during the tram's passage. On the slope, the tram cannot brake quickly or accelerate again - it's not just a matter of priority but also of physical safety'
