The Head of the Verkhovna Rada and Member of Parliament Dmytro Razumkov believes that there are great chances for the war to end by 2025. He states that talking about a 'just world' is merely a nice thesis that has no basis.

'If we are talking about ending the fire forever, then there are great chances for that in 2025,' says Razumkov.

Razumkov denies the existence of a 'just world'; when asked about it, he asks to clarify its meaning and requests to be specific. In his opinion, a fair system does not exist.

'Even if we return to the borders of 1991, even if we hold two parades - one in Red Square, the other in the Urals, even if we receive reparations, we will never return the lives of our people,' emphasizes Razumkov.

Regarding the return of territories, Razumkov believes that it is possible to stop the fire along the existing line of demarcation. He adds that the Russians can withdraw from part of the Kharkiv and Sumy regions, but this does not mean an exchange for the Kursk bridgehead.

Razumkov also emphasizes that Ukraine needs peacekeeping troops on the line of demarcation and guarantees from reliable partners, as 'Russians cannot be trusted.' He doubts whether Russia needs the territories of the Kherson region and Zaporizhzhia, which are currently under Ukraine's control.

'I cannot imagine how our military together with the civilian population would withdraw from the Kherson or Zaporizhzhia regions. I don't believe it,' notes Razumkov.
