Shashlik, Neck, Bacon: How Pork Prices Changed in September.


Slight changes in pork prices have occurred in the Ukrainian meat market over the past month.
The portal "Khvilya" conducted an analysis of current average prices and compared them with data from August 2024, presented by the portal "Minfin".
The average price of pork belly rose from 167.64 hryvnias per kilogram in August to 170.69 hryvnias per kilogram now.
The price of pork shoulder increased by 3.20 hryvnias - from 166.73 to 169.93 hryvnias per kilogram.
The biggest decrease was seen in the price of pork neck, which fell from 270.74 hryvnias to 265.20 hryvnias per kilogram, a decrease of 5.54 hryvnias.
The price of pork bacon rose from 167.63 to 170.97 hryvnias per kilogram, an increase of 3.34 hryvnias.
Pork ribs showed the smallest change in price - they increased by only 1.19 hryvnias - from 171.78 to 172.97 hryvnias per kilogram. Pork shashlik slightly decreased in price from 233.99 hryvnias to 229.63 hryvnias, a decrease of 4.36 hryvnias.
