The SBU detained an informant recruited through a dating site by the RF.

The Security Service of Ukraine announced that they have identified and detained an informant for the Federal Security Service (FSB) in Sumy and Donetsk regions. This individual was recruited by the Russians through a dating site. The main interest of the enemy was focused on obtaining the coordinates of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction, which is one of the most tense at the front.
According to the case materials, the 23-year-old resident of Pokrovsk was recruited by the FSB using a so-called "honey trap" on dating sites. A representative of the Russian special service found the young man and offered him to meet in person. After that, he was sent to survey the area around Pokrovsk and report on the positions of the Defense Forces. He was also reporting on airstrikes that hit the city. After reconnaissance sorties in Sumy region, the subject was used again in Donetsk region to monitor the activities of the Ukrainian air defense on the border with Russia.
The detained informant was found in the regional center of Sumy region. He rented an apartment and equipped it as an observation post. There he installed a mobile phone with additional power sources to broadcast air attacks on the city online for the FSB.
The SBU detained him and seized the phones used for intelligence and subversive activities in favor of Russia. The detainee was notified of suspicion under the Criminal Code of Ukraine for unauthorized dissemination of information about military formations under martial law conditions.
Previously, other FSB agents who were also spying on Ukrainian military and state institutions were detained.
It is worth noting that in Khmelnytskyi region, a person who was scouting the location and movement of defense forces was also identified and detained. The court decided to sentence her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
