Another region restricts movement of citizens in the border zone.

In Sumy region, restrictions on movement in the border zone have been introduced. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Due to the increased intensity of hostilities, the activation of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups, special operations forces, and in order to preserve the lives of civilians and servicemen, the military command has imposed restrictions on the movement of all categories of citizens in the twenty-kilometer border zone of the Sumy region», – the message says.

In particular, residents with appropriate registration will be allowed into the territory.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the evacuation from the Sumy region, almost 20,000 people have been evacuated, including about 2,000 children.

The State Border Guard Service has begun issuing documents for the right to stay in the five-kilometer-wide border strip from the state border line.

To stay in the border strip, you need to have a permit from the State Border Guard Service.

In Bukovina, Ukrainians were prohibited from approaching closer than five kilometers to the border due to the large number of draft-age men who wanted to illegally leave Ukraine.
