The Defense Forces struck the rare North Korean installation 'Koksan' for the first time (video).

Ukrainian military personnel became the first to destroy the North Korean self-propelled artillery installation 'Koksan' during the great war. This was reported by the press service of the operational-strategic grouping 'Khortytsia'.

The fighters of the 412th separate drone systems regiment 'Nemesis' managed to get rid of this equipment.

“The range of fire for this self-propelled installation with a high-explosive fragmentation shell reaches 43 km, while an active-reactive shell can reach 54-60 km. The firing rate is two shots within 5 minutes, and this machine requires eight people,” the message states.

The self-propelled artillery unit 'Koksan' was first spotted in Russian armament in October 2024. The first combat use was recorded during the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988.

Earlier, the fighters of the drone systems battalion of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade 'Steel Lions' of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a rare experimental reconnaissance drone of the occupiers 'Merlin-VR'.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine also struck the radar equipment of the Russian occupiers in the Belgorod region.
