The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine supported the creation of a medical unit
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi, supported the developed concept of creating a separate medical unit. According to military officials, this idea was discussed at various public events, congresses, conferences, and during meetings with the senior command of other servicemen.
The support for the concept was also announced at a meeting with the Commander-in-Chief.
Additionally, a unit for the protection of cultural heritage already has been established in the Armed Forces. It will operate within the framework of civil-military cooperation. The decision to create such a unit was made by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and approved by a joint directive with Minister of Defense Rustam Umerov.
The new unit will employ specialists with education and experience in the fields of culture, archaeology, history, and museum affairs. The main task of the command will be coordinating activities for the protection, preservation, and prevention of damage to cultural heritage that may suffer as a result of combat actions.
Furthermore, the Armed Forces of Ukraine plan to create staffing units for recruitment issues.
