Scandalous concerts of Serdiuchka. Language ombudsman explained whether Andriy Danylo violates the law.

The authorized representative for the protection of the state language Taras Kremin stated that artist Andriy Danylo, known as Virka Serdiuchka, complied with the law while performing songs in Russian. He revealed this issue in an interview for the publication 'Glavkom', explaining that such performances do not contradict language legislation.

According to Kremin's explanations, Ukrainian law allows performers to perform Russian-language compositions without limiting their choice of Ukrainian-language works. Although there were no violations in this specific case, additional checks are planned to ensure that the conditions for holding concerts comply with legal requirements.

Authorized representative Taras Kremin emphasized that the famous artist did not violate the law while performing songs in Russian under the pseudonym Virka Serdiuchka. At the same Time, additional checks are planned to ensure compliance with language legislation requirements in similar situations.

Noting that in the case of Virka Serdiuchka there were no violations of the legislation regarding the performance of Russian-language songs, the authorized representative for the protection of the state language emphasized the permissibility of such performances in the context of Ukraine's language legislation. At the same time, additional checks are planned to ensure that similar performances comply with legal norms.
