Shmyhal Reveals Major Changes in Military Funding from December.

According to the amendments to the Tax Code, the state will additionally allocate 8 billion UAH by the end of the current year for the payment of salaries to military personnel. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.
'As of December 1, amendments to the Tax Code will come into force, allowing the state to accumulate 8 billion UAH by the end of this year and 140 billion UAH in 2025,' Shmyhal noted.
He emphasized that all these funds will be directly allocated for the financial support of the military.
'Thanks to internal financial resources, we can ensure timely payments to our warriors,' the Prime Minister added.
In 2025, it is planned to spend 2.23 trillion UAH on the defense of Ukraine, of which 1.16 trillion UAH will be directed to the financial support of military personnel.
It was also revealed what commitments international partners have undertaken for 2025.
